about me
I am a digital storyteller. For over 18 years, I’ve been in the Words Business — first as a journalist, translating complex financial and market trends into clear, compelling narratives, and later as a content strategist, UX writer, and brand consultant.
I don’t just write. I design content experiences that create clarity, build trust, and drive action. I define brand voice and tone across channels, develop and evolve style guides, build taxonomies, and shape content strategies that support users at every stage of their journey. Whether launching digital products from the ground up, creating strategies that convert, or running my own small business in South Africa, my work has always been about more than words. It’s about meaningful impact.
My career is as diverse as it’s global. I grew up in Apartheid South Africa, an experience that shaped my deep awareness of cultural impact and the power of design and storytelling. It taught me to revere the art, treat it with caution and great responsibility, because words can single-handedly inspire, nurture and grow, as much as it can destroy, exclude and harm.

I’ve lived and worked in South Africa, the UK, Panama, and Sweden, absorbing new perspectives, adapting across industries, and bridging cultures through language. With native-level English and Afrikaans and strong Spanish, I don’t just know about cultural diversity — I live it. This fuels my commitment to zero-harm design, accessibility, and ethical digital storytelling that’s inclusive and sensitive. ​I write to empower, to inspire, and to move people to action.
